Hi everyone,
I'm writing to let you know about something new we're introducing, and I want to be upfront about why.
Every one of you deals with frustrations in your daily work. Repetitive tasks that shouldn't be manual. Processes that are a bit of a mess. Workarounds that waste your time. Things you've probably mentioned in passing but nothing ever changed.
That changes now.
Through Grenadier Computing we have access to a platform called Pain Points. It gives every single person in this business, regardless of role or department, a simple way to report the recurring frustrations, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks you encounter day-to-day.

Here's what I'm asking you to do
Go to the platform at painpoints.grenadiercomputing.co.uk (a shortcut may have also been placed on your desktop), and report the things that waste your time. It takes about 2 minutes. You tell us:

| • How often it happens |
| • How long it takes each time |
| • How it affects the business |
The platform automatically calculates what that problem is costing us annually. And when your colleagues confirm they experience the same issue, the cost scales up, giving us a clear picture of which problems are hurting us the most.

Why am I asking you to do this?
Because you know better than anyone where the problems are. I can't fix what I can't see, and the people closest to the work are the ones best placed to identify what needs to change. This isn't about pointing fingers or finding fault. It's about building a shared picture of where we're losing time and money, so we can make smarter decisions about what to invest in.
What happens with your pain points?
Every submission is reviewed. The most impactful ones go through a structured process: discovery, scoping, approval, and then real solutions are implemented. You'll be able to track the progress of your pain point from start to finish. When a problem gets solved, the cost saved is tracked and celebrated.

A few things worth knowing
You can submit anonymously
Your name will be hidden from colleagues, though administrators can still follow up if needed.

Your colleagues can get involved
They can confirm they have the same problem, comment with additional context, and even propose solutions.

There's a rewards system
You'll earn points and badges for participating, and we've attached real physical rewards to certain achievements.

This is not an IT helpdesk
It's for recurring process problems, not one-off tech issues.

I genuinely believe this will make a real difference to how we work. But it only works if you use it. I'm not looking for perfect submissions. I'm looking for honesty. A quick, rough description of something that frustrates you is far more valuable than silence.
